Jerome and Kirsten first met in Norway 19 years ago, where they worked together, and subsequently met up again in a number of countries, but never at sea. Jerome was in Europe to see Kirsten off on her trans-Africa trip, as well as in the Cape in South Africa to see her arrival from that trip. They shared a few hitchhiking adventures in Europe. He is French but recently left a small Norwegian island to relocate to Amsterdam.

Jerome comes from the Pays-de-la-Loire region and is happy to be Kirsten’s manager in her mission to reach the starting line on his home turf.

Kirsten, as always, is thrilled to have his support in her adventures.
